Next Public Stakeholder Meeting - Thursday, January 11, 2018
Our next public meeting for the Village Creek-Lake Arlington Watershed Protection Partnership will take place on Thursday, January 11 at 6:30pm. We will discuss the modeled impacts of bacterial contamination in the watershed from several sources using the SELECT analysis. These results were based on recommendations made by partnership members at our last meeting. As a Partnership member, you will be able to use the output from this visual tool to decide where the most impact can be made using best management practices (BMPs) for each of the following:

  • Cattle (beef and dairy)

  • Horses (also mules, donkeys, burros)

  • Feral hogs

  • Deer

  • Dogs and cats

  • Septic Systems

  • Sanitary Sewer Overflows

Please join us to voice your thoughts and opinions on how this project can help to improve the water quality and recreational potential of both Lake Arlington and Village Creek as we continue to navigate this crucial period of the planning process.
